What does the Cornerhouse Bookstore offer?
The Bookstore features over 2,200 publications from many of the most innovative publishers, galleries and museums working in contemporary visual arts. Our list encompasses all the visual arts including architecture, art theory and education, design, fashion, film and video, painting, photography, performance and sculpture.
How do I find a particular book?
You have a number of ways of finding the title you want. If you have details of the book you are trying to locate use Book Search. For a general search, enter the term in Keywords or, for a more specific search, enter the term under Title, Author or Artist. To search for all titles from a specific publisher use the drop down list under Publisher.

How do I order a book from the Cornerhouse Bookstore?
When you have made your choice simply click on Add to basket, type the number of copies you would like, then click on Checkout and follow the on-screen instructions.
How do I know what's in my shopping basket?
At any point whilst you are visiting the Bookstore you can view your shopping basket by clicking on Basket.
How can I pay for items?
Payment can be made by the following cards: American Express, Eurocard, JCB, Maestro, MasterCard, Solo or VISA.
If you prefer, orders can also be made by post, telephone, or fax but must be accompanied by £ cheque (made payable to Cornerhouse Publications and drawn on a UK bank), or your credit card details. Payment can also be made directly to our bank. Please contact us if you require details of our bank account. See below for our contact details.
When will my credit card be debited?
Your credit card will be debited as the order is processed.
Will you acknowledge my order?
Yes, an email will be sent to confirm receipt of your order.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will normally be processed on the working day that it is received. However, we advise customers to allow 5 working days for delivery in the UK and Europe, and up to 12 working days for the Rest of the World.
Is it safe to order items and give credit card information over the internet?
Information is stored on a secure server. Cornerhouse has ensured that every care and attention has been taken in the use of secure credit card transactions over the internet, and hope that customers will feel at ease when using the service.
Does this site use Cookies?
This site takes advantage of harmless cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as storing items in your shopping cart between visits.
Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. You will be able to browse the books on the site with cookies disabled but they will need to be enabled if you wish to buy on-line.

What will happen to information I submit to Cornerhouse?
All information will be used for the purpose of the transaction only. If you subscribe to our Mailing List you will receive regular email updates on books recently published.
Returns
In normal circumstances, books supplied correctly are not returnable. Of course, any book found to be imperfect or damaged in transit will be replaced free of charge. Please notify Cornerhouse of any problems on receipt of your order.
Refunds
In the case of authorised returns, a full refund will be made. Postage is only refundable where Cornerhouse is at fault.
What if the item I want is out of stock?
If a title is not currently available it will be noted on the website. Please check to see when it becomes available or contact us directly - see our contact details below.
How can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order at any time whilst you are browsing and have items in your shopping basket. Simply click on Basket at the top of the page and then click the Empty basket displayed below the basket. If you proceed to Checkout with your order, you will be given an opportunity to cancel it just before your details are submitted for processing.
What is your pricing policy?
While every effort is made to ensure that prices listed are correct; they are subject to change. In the event of any price increase the customer will be contacted before the order is processed.
